Covers at South Muckleford

The Muckleford Cricket Club is pleased to announce the procurement of our new covers at Mapson/Timmins Oval, providing an important addition to the club's equipment and helping us protect the playing surface and facilities during wet weather.

The project was made possible through the Mount Alexander Shire Council Community Grants Program.

We sincerely thank Mount Alexander Shire Council for its support of the Muckleford Cricket Club and our local sporting community.

Muckleford Cricket Club is proud to announce the completion of a project that has been years in the making — the installation of a new hybrid turf wicket at Mapson/Timmins Oval (South Muckleford). Even more exciting, this is the first of its kind in Victoria.

The project has been supported through the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund, from Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria.

We would also like to sincerely thank Erik & Amanda and all the team at GABBA for their expertise and work in installing the new wicket, along with every Club member, volunteer, helper, family member and non-club member who has contributed their time, effort and support throughout the project.

Years in the making. A dream come true. 🏏❤️

The Muckleford Cricket Club is proud to acknowledge and sincerely thank the Maldon & District Community Bank for their support through the Community Grants Program.

Following our successful application, the Club has been able to purchase a new roller for the Mapson/Timmins Oval. This important investment will significantly improve our ability to prepare and maintain high-quality playing surfaces for senior and junior cricketers alike.

Community grants such as this play a vital role in strengthening local sport and ensuring our facilities continue to serve current and future generations.
